Wednesday 14th May 2025 was the official book launch of my latest children's book, Lily O'Frilly and the Rainbow Cake🌈 🎂 It was such a fun afternoon at Esperance Public Library, with many families joining us for a book reading, followed by a number of hands-on activities:

❤️ Pretend play - the children followed clues from the story to pretend bake their own cakes with props
🧡 Cupcake decorating - the children decorated their own yummy cupcakes with rainbow coloured sprinkles
💛 Playdough - the children used rainbow playdough and cooking utensils to make their own rainbow cakes
💚 Bracelets - the children designed their own rainbow bracelets with unique patterns

We also shared factsheets about safe technology use prepared by the ARC Centre of Excellence for the Digital Child

I cannot thank Michelle, Bec and the team at Esperance Public Library enough for the effort they put into preparing these activities, and to the families to came along to support. For privacy, we have hidden the children's faces in the photos 🤩 but if only you could see the smiles on their faces! - So much fun!
